Perth Comedy Night 2018

Featuring a brilliant line-up of Scotland’s finest stand-up, get your weekend off to a great start at Perth Comedy Night, sponsored by Tan International.

Details of our 2018 acts will be unveiled in the New Year. However, to give you a flavour of what might be on offer, here’s our line-up from 2017:

Fred MacAulay

Born in Perth, the Sunday Times describes Fred as “Rib-achingly funny, one of the funniest men alive”.

Bruce Fummey

Perth-born Bruce has been making people laugh since an early age. He has a cheeky and vivacious comedy style which has been appreciated by comedy audiences in the UK and internationally and in 2014 he was named the Scottish Comedian of the Year. “Bruce Fummey had the crowd belly-laughing in seconds“. Joe Heenan

Joe Heenan performed his first gig in Edinburgh in 1995, and is a regular at the Fringe & now regular compere at the Stand comedy clubs in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Jim Smith

The Perthshire farmer turned stand-up with regular slots at The Stand, The Fringe and has been a finalist in the Scottish Comedian of the Year and So You Think Youre Funny? competitions.

Arrive before 7.00pm and receive a FREE DRINK. We’ll provide tokens for one drink from our excellent bar selection to each guest that arrives before 7.00pm on production of valid ticket for the show.

Food and drink

Our bar opens at 6.30pm and food will be on sale – fabulous curry and locally sourced, David Lindsay, burgers prior to the show. In addition to our fabulous range of Innis & Gunn and Inveralmond Brewery ales, we’ll have a selection of spirits, wine and standard bar drinks, including Prosecco. For the drivers, what could be better than Innis & Gunn None?! If you wish to sample the full selection of Perth Beer Festival craft beer, please attend Perth Beer Festival on Saturday 12th May from 12noon – 6pm.

Tickets are £20 each and we will provide details of when tickets will go on sale shortly. Please note seating for this event is theatre style and available on first-come-first-served basis. Please arrive in good time for your party to be seated together.
