Craft beer will be flowing again as Inveralmond backs Perth Beer Festival
Perth beer brand Inveralmond is again backing one of the Fair City’s favourite get-togethers – Perth Beer Festival, sponsored by Tan International.
The team behind the Festival has been working with Inveralmond to produce a superb selection of craft ales and beers from 12 noon until 6pm on Saturday, May 12. Inveralmond and sister brand Innis & Gunn will also be pouring at the two ticketed events that form part of the Festival: Perth Comedy Night on Friday, May 11, and the Big Bash Finale on Saturday, May 12.
The team at Inveralmond, which became part of the Innis & Gunn family in 2016, will have their full range pouring, including Ossian, heralded as Champion Beer of Scotland. Also making an appearance will be special guest beer ThaiPA, a tropical IPA with chillies and lemongrass.
Perth Beer Festival, which takes place at the city’s North Inch park, will also feature beers from Loch Lomond Brewery, Broughton Ales and the Cromary Brewing Company.
Fergus Clark, founder and chief executive of the Inveralmond Beer brand, said a collaboration with Perth Beer Festival “makes perfect sense”.
Said Fergus: “Inveralmond Beer is Perth born and bred, or should I say born and brewed, so it makes perfect sense to lend our support once more to this excellent community event. We look forward to raising our glasses again to another successful Perth Beer Festival.”
Allan Brown, chief executive of Perthshire Rugby, organisers of Perth Beer Festival, added: “We’re thrilled to once again have Inveralmond supporting Perth Beer Festival. The weather forecast is good, tickets are selling at record levels and it’s set to be another cracking weekend jam packed full of activities for everyone, including families.”
